The producers of the oddball Finnish “Star Trek” fan film “
Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning” are back, and this time they’ve cooked up something truly original.
Their latest feature, “
Iron Sky,” is a sci-fi comedy set in an alternate future where the Nazis have constructed a military base on the dark side of the moon, patiently developing highly advanced technology as they await the perfect moment to return and take over planet Earth. The resourceful folks over at
Twitch Film have managed to land some impressive pieces of
concept art from “Iron Sky,” and the film’s first trailer is set to debut on the
official site on May 5, 2008. This one has all he makings of a true cult hit, and it’ll be fun to see what the ambitious group over at
Energia Productions have cooked up for their second feature film.
I have GOT to see this movie!
So, ok, it’s probably full of juvenile humor and drug, sex, and other less PC humor. But that is just what America needs to stop taking itself so seriously.
Back when comedies didn’t have to knuckle under being politically correct, they were funny and entertaining.
The very original movie Airplane! is a case in point. Every one was made fun of equally.
Pretty damn impressive. I hope it hit theaters here in Mexico.
