Churning out piles of snarky commentary about the titles headed for home video week after week is not a particularly difficult job, but why do even the meager work involved in the task if I don’t absolutely have to? So many of this week’s releases seem to dovetail like a graceful sonnet with some particular clip from the pot full of pop culture’s just barely edible refuse known as the Soup.
